Buckaroos

This is the last week on the weekly schedule with my younger daughters, 11 and 9. They are excited about the move to Oahu, even though they are going to see me less frequently in their daily lives. Haven't ironed out details yet, but expect to have them over there for some extended stays, which will be a better deal than our current arrangement. They are with me one week and their mom the other, alternating. Unfortunately, that situation is very hard on us all and moving apart has been recommended by all of the professionals we've consulted with over the past few years.

I've got a good bond with them; I've been volunteering at their school each week since they started their in kindergarten, six years ago. I also spent a lot of time at their Montessori daycare.

Still, it's hard to give up the daily life. It's a great opportunity for me professionally. It's in a place my wife and I love to live; the place where we married. And it gives us the opportunity to thrive in a new life of our own, without the constant battles required to hold our space here.

Enough of that. Got questions for me about the details of our struggle? Buy me a mai tai and I'll give you a dissertation on personality disorders from a front-row perspective.

Time to surf.

Thanks for commenting, unless you're a 'bot, then I hope you rust, or whatever the digital equivalent of oxidation of metal may happen to be.

If you're a hacker, could you work on taking down a bank that I have loans at? That would really help.
